Computer Applications II
The goal of Computer Technology 2 is to build upon the fundamentals learned in Computer Technology 1. Review of fundamental skills, keyboarding, word processing/desktop publishing, intermediate spreadsheet and database management, multimedia presentation and intermediate Internet tools will be addressed.
Students will complete exercises and projects using the Microsoft Office integrated software program to learn the following essential skills in order to enable them to:

Demonstrate keyboarding proficiency

Use word processing to be able to produce a variety of documents

Use desktop publishing to create documents combining text, graphics and draw tools

Understand, create and manipulate electronic spreadsheets and databases

Create intermediate level multimedia presentations (Hyper Studio, PowerPoint)

Utilize intermediate level Internet tools
-
Use CD ROM and Internet technology for research purposes
