2009 - 2010 School Year Recycling Tallies

As of September 2009,
we have recycled 32 tons of paper and earned $164.

Previous Recycling Tallies:

Central Bucks recycled 570 tons of paper and earned $4,170 during the 2008-2009 school year. Each year we beat the year before! Way to go!

Central Bucks recycled 474 tons of paper and earned $3,535 during the 2007-2008 school year. More importantly, we saved 3,792 trees!

During the 2006-2007 school year, CB recycled 300 tons of paper and raised $1,500.

Central Bucks introduces paper recycling! Each CB school now has an Abitibi "Paper Retriever" recycling bin. In this bin, you can recycle catalogues, junk mail, fax paper, copy paper, folders, newspapers, etc.

Look for the green and yellow recycling bin and drop off your paper when you are at school. You can even toss in paper in a plastic bag, but no phone books, cardboard or paper towels, please.

Our schools earn money for every ton of paper collected. Plans are to use these funds for conservation or environmental projects.
