Tuesday and Thursday - 7 – 10 pm – March 25 –  May 1, 2008 – Must attend all classes.  Must be 15 yrs old by end of course.  Fee includes textbook, CPR pocket mask and certification cards if course is completed and all tests are passed.

There will also be a pre-course session on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 7:30- 8:30pm.  You need to bring to the pre-course session proof of age, a current physical form (dated after 3/20/06), an evaluation for participation in sports, and an insurance waiver.  If you turned in a physical to your school and it is dated after 3/20/05 you can bring a copy of that form and just sign the insurance waiver.  Participant will be required to pass a skill test as follows on March 20th… Swim 500 yards continuously using these strokes in the following order–200 yards front crawl (freestyle) using rhythmic breathing, 100 yards of breaststroke and 200 yards of front crawl (free) or breaststroke.  Swim 20 yards of front crawl (free) or breaststroke, surface dive, retrieve and return to the surface a 10 pound object from the water at a depth of at least 10 feet and swim back to the starting point with the object.
