  3123 Human Anatomy and Physiology: Career Extension 

CB-East and CB-South only

The course of study focuses on body systems such as the skeletal, muscular, cardiovascular, digestive, and nervous systems. This particular class includes a Doylestown Hospital component, which allow students to explore a wide range of vocations in the health care field.

A major theme of this course is to examine current issues, technologies, and bioethical questions relating to curricular topics. Structured lab work, including dissection of specimens, is part of the course. Anatomy and Physiology is designed for college-bound students with an interest in the allied health fields.

Enrollment is limited to space available at the hospital.

Prerequisite: Academic Biology with a B or better and teacher recommendation. Students must successfully complete an application and go through the interview process. Blood test for tuberculosis is required by Doylestown Hospital
