Kindergarten

Students will:

	Develop an understanding of different ways that people travel
	Act responsibly toward their school surroundings
	Become aware of their community
	Use appropriate life skills for problem-solving, self-control, working in a group, responsibility, respect, etc.
	Become aware of world events and local events that are appropriate for their level
	Recognize their individuality and become aware of the similarities and differences among people in their own culture and in other cultures.
	Respect their own bodies, their own feelings, and the bodies and feelings of others.
	Recognize the need for rules in families, school, and society
