      Family and Consumer Sciences 7 is a required hands-on class which begins preparing students for independent living while building wise consumer habits. An emphasis is placed on cooperative learning through activities which include child care basics, nutritional recipes, and a sewing project. Service learning opportunities are provided as part of the course work.
