GOOGLE SMART SEARCHING TIPS
1. Go to the advanced search features of Google's search page.

2. Try the pull-down menu for searching for pdf's and ppts.

3. Try site:edu, or site:org after a Google search to limit results to .edu or .org sites.

4.
Google Scholar lets you search academic papers and thesis papers on scholarly topics.

5.
Google Books will let you search for your topic in books and magazines, and in some cases, read the entire book/magazine.
