Attention Parents:  Mr. Manners and Mrs. Corr will host the first Senior Parent Workshop of the year, reviewing the COLLEGE APPLICATION PROCESS, on Wednesday evening, September 29th, at 7pm in the Auditorium.  (This will be a repeat of the presentation held in May.)  Parents and students are welcome to the presentaion, which will review the college search; applications (online, and The Common Application); sending transcripts; getting counselor and teacher recommendations; sending SAT scores; and writing essays. Please email Mrs. Newman at anewman@cbsd.org to RSVP.

IMPORTANT:  APPLICATION DEADLINES

The Guidance Office requires 15 SCHOOL DAYS to process a student's Transcript Request Form, and to send transcripts, recommendations, and additional documentation to colleges.  It is essential that students be aware of their colleges' application deadlines, and then submit their Transcript Request forms to the Guidance Office at least 15 SCHOOL DAYS prior to those deadlines, in accordance with the following guidelines:

*Responsibility to submit Transcript Requests in a timely manner rests with the student.  The Guidance Office can not guarantee that Transcript Requests submitted after these published deadlines will be processed or sent out in sufficient time to meet college applications deadlines.
