Read-a-Thon

February and March

On February 12, the 7^th graders saw an assembly about the Read-a-thon.  Students collect pledges for reading as many books as possible, and all money is donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Barclay Spring Fair

Saturday, April 12

 Spring is almost here, and that means it’s time for the Barclay Spring Fair!  Volunteers are needed between the hours of 10:30 am and 3 pm.  See Mrs. Higgins to sign up. 

 

  Penny Wars

March 10-18

  Which grade level can collect the most pennies?  All donations made during lunch will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

  

American Red Cross Blood Drive

Monday, April 21

Students will be making phone calls on April 8 to recruit donors for this spring’s blood drive.  Appointments can be made from 3:30 pm to 7:45 pm.  If you are interested in donating blood, please contact Mrs.Higgins

  Relay for Life

Saturday, May 17

Start planning to attend the 2008 Central Bucks Middle Schools Relay for Life!  This incredible event benefits the American Cancer Society.  Tamanend’s kick-off  assembly was be Friday, March 14.  Interested students should attend an additional meeting on Tuesday, March 18.  A parents’ meeting will take place on March 25 at 7:30 pm.
