Grade 9 is a year of transition from middle school to high school and a time for important decisions regarding your future. Teachers respect this transition, but continue to support students in providing information and discussing the choices students need to make as young adults.

            Your schedule has become more complex this year and does not allow for a small-scale team. Instead, we will be treating the ninth grade as one large team. Grade 9 teachers meet regularly to integrate your learning and to foster open communication with you and your parents.

            A large emphasis is placed on moving the decision making control from teachers to students. Grade 9 also becomes the important first year for your grades and the impact they can have on your course and college choices in the future.
